Minnesota Red Trumpet Vine is a fast growing, clinging vine producing red trumpet shaped flowers in the summer months that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Plant Minnesota Red Trumpet Vine in a full sun to partial shade. This vine is drought tolerant once it becomes established. It is a good choice for hot and dry sites. It will grow from 25′ to 30′ in total length and 5′ to 6′ in width.

The abundant sprays of trumpet-shaped red flowers and dark green leaves cover this deciduous vine for an extra long bloom season from early summer to early fall. The leaves will turn yellow in the fall. The rapid growth makes training easy and is excellent for covering fences or an arbour. Minnesota Red Trumpet Vine is deer resistant, makes a great cut flower, and is a Firewise plant.
