Pandy’s Garden Center Nursery Smoke Tree Dwarf Velveteen

This new introduction to the plant world is less than half the size of its parent, Royal Purple.  Velveteeny™ inherited the beautiful, rich purple foliage of Royal Purple,  but it’s “Teeny”!   Velveteeny™ is the ideal smokebush for patio planters and space-challenged yards in urban areas. Deep burgundy summer foliage turns brilliant shades of red and orange in fall.  Best colour in full sun and well drained soils.  Feathery plums of gray-pink blooms in summer.   Very low maintenance with no pruning required.  Grows 1.25m high & wide with a compact rounded shape.
