Encap Lawn Starter Mulch is the helping hand designed to make seeding a new lawn as easy as possible. Simply use Lawn Starter Mulch with the seed of your choice and water -it goes to work immediately to help condition the soil, hold both seed and soil in place and help increase water infiltration. Starter fertilizer (0.5-0-0) aids in initial establishment. Contains Encap’s patented Advanced Soil Technology (AST), which improves the physical characteristics of the soil for maximum performance. Helps improve seed establishment, water penetration and reduces soil loss. It also contains Encap’s Seed Watering Technology (SWT), which consists of special crystals called Sparkle. Sparkle crystals swell and glisten when enough water has been applied. When the crystals disappear, it’s time to water again. 12 lbs covers 1,000 sq. ft.
